Alexander's Way (1778 -1783)

The first book in the trilogy, Alexander's Way begins in Philadelphia with Alexander James, a young Quaker caught between his pacifist beliefs and the violence of the American Revolution. The Story of Blue Eye (1837 - 1873) follows the James family's struggle on the Bow River to maintain their trading house and beliefs during the tumultuous days leading up to the colonization of the Canadian West. (This book was released in March 2004.)
